Welcome to the Class of 2026
Congratulations to the Class of 2026!
It has been said that an education at the Naval Academy can be divided into three equal parts. The first third of your USNA experience is the six weeks of Plebe Summer. The second third is your Plebe Year, and the remaining third is the rest of your stay at the Naval Academy. Here are some important resources for Plebes and their parents.

Alumni Association I-Day Checklist
In order to drive on to the Naval Academy yard, all parents will be required to undergo a background check and obtain a DBIDS photo ID.
Information for obtaining a DBIDS can be found here. You should complete and send in the paperwork as soon as possible so you can pick up the DBID on I-Day. You can also submit the paperwork at the Pass and ID Office inside Gate 1 when you arrive for I-Day or any time after.
